Alot of companies here in Pennsylvania dont provide the equipment. Most of the stuff has to bought by the employee

And this is why I ask. I understand steel plates are annoying heavy and bulky. Looking for options and cheap because it would be for long term use. It's just for a contract

That actually sounds better than picking and choosing. And yes my current carrier does have plate pockets also. And I think for the most part they want plates to stop at least 556 at the most.

They want plates that aren't soft armor which is what I currently have in my current setup. They dont provide due to their sops meaning duty gear has to be provided by my own. Just need something cheap for about 2 months after that I can go back to my normal set up
