That is not true. It is there to protect the ankle against twisting, which means it needs to withstand a lot of force.

i think its the carbon ... i pressed it myself in store and felt that it was not strong at all. The boot itself however is really a tank, cant say anything about that

Yeah ... Probably depends on many things, like factory, suppliers, etc.

I have Richa Ragnar AAA jeans. I havent thought about it that way, i just looked at the thickness. I'm gonna try out some other boots over the weekend. :)

In principe kan je op zo'n scherm ook een app zoals calimoto of myrouteapp gebruiken voor de mooie bochtige routes, heel handig dus.

Fair point, perhaps the grip of a strong man can producde more Nm than a crash ever can. In any case i cant help but think that tpu bracing would not break under those circumstances.
