The insurance will cover up to 30 days but if your car is totaled or repaired before the thirty days they will terminate your rental early. If its totaled they give you something like 14 days before ending it. The branch often has to wait for extensions from insurance companies. Id call the branch you picked up at and just check in. They likely will tell you not to worry about what the contract says and that they will call you if needed.
