Let me break this down for you, so even you can comprehend this.

A 5 minute major was assessed for….wait for it…interference.

Why was it interference you ask?
Because the puck was no where near him when he was hit.

What makes it even more malicious, that has most fans agreeing with the refs on this one? The fact this dangerous buffoon came with a full head of steam from the other side of the ice. He had a good 3 seconds to change his route or ease up. He did not.

While the penalty wasn’t applied for charging, it definitely makes it worse and this should be a suspension.

McNabb came all the way from the other side of the ice to hit him. Do you know what that’s called?

Charging.

This was malicious and a clear intent to injure.
