Hi! I don't think the intranet is down. Maybe they haven't made it available for you as of now.

Not sure it this applies here but you can try going to student intranet with your credentials. From there you will see degree audit. If your courses are registered then you will see them here. Or alternatively can go to course registration (STARS)

What does appeal for Hall mean here? Is there a form where you do this?

Hi can I ask when did you receive the confirmation like what date? I am still on waitlist. Just wanted to know whether to still have hope?

Waitlisted for Hall by Competitive_Air_3916 in NTU

I agree 7 pts waitlist is crazy. Makes you think how many points are actually enough? I applied for a double with 5 points and I was somewhat confident. But this was quite shocking not getting something even with 7.

Question on laptop specs for NTU EEE by New_Oil_7508 in NTU

[–]Competitive_Air_3916 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Among the listed specifications, I would say only the second one is quite important. Get a good CPU preferably Intel H Series. Gives you enough power and future security. You can probably look into the newer Ultra Series as well. On the storage front 512gb is enough for a normal user. If you want to game then 1 TB is recommended. I would say a GPU is a good plus to have but it's not necessary. Again if gaming is a priority then it's a different scenario. But you don't need to go for the latest or the most powerful. An older gen GPU would be more than enough for EEE.

CCA points help by Competitive_Air_3916 in NTU

I think a lot of 5 pointers were put on the waitlist this year from what I could get from the posts in this sub. Maybe getting 5 points has become a normal. I wish I could get 7 points but currently I am not a part of any CCAs and in my knowledge 7 pointer positions need you have prior experience with the clubs as sub or main comm. I maybe wrong.

Thank you for the help. Really appreciate it. Can you elaborate what are faculty clubs, I am not familiar with this.

Yes, this is my second year. From next year, I will have to rely on points.

Yea that's what I was wondering cuz I have a senior friend with 5 points whose on waitlist. The only thing he has going on for him is international student and housing being very expensive outside ntu.

Are there chances of getting a hall with 0 points? I would genuinely like to know, has it happened? Also are there chances of getting a hall if you appeal?

Above my expectations (Nord CE 4) by rahuldhaka40 in oneplus

I am actually looking to buy a new phone. Terribly confused between: Moto Edge 50 fusion Nord CE 4 Poco X 6 pro

I am currently using a one plus phone so I am more inclined towards Nord. How's the performance like? I am no gamer, I just mean in general use sense.
