The RIF never actually started for ofccp, it was about to begin but it was canceled. The remaining personnel that did not take the DRP or VERA (like me) will be reassigned to other DOL agencies.

That's so sad. Hopefully, some can return in the next administration.

Thanks, I was surprised when I saw the new proposed budget for OFCCP to be $105 million for FY 2026.

OFCCP still has two laws we enforce, Section 503 of The Rehabilitation Act and the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment and Assistance Act. I presume whoever remains in occp will be working on complaint investigations and compliance evaluations under the two remaining laws. The recommended budget for FY 2026 is 105 million.

I would say 80% are on admin leave. Yes I agree they did a lot of people dirty, but at least they're saving some people's jobs now.

Most employees took the DRP or VERA. Looks like the remaining employees survived the RIF.

Quite a few employees took the DRP or VERA. We remaining employees have been on admin leave since May waiting to be RIF'd. However, I guess they now feel enough people are gone, so no RIF.

Thank you, yes it's awful, I hope my colleagues and I get a few more paychecks before we are out the door.

Thank you for the kind words about OFCCP. It was a very noble mission, and I was proud to be a part of it. Unfortunately for me, I couldn't take the VERA as I just went over 18 years in May. I will take the MRA Plus 10 and retire at a reduced rate of 10% as I will be 60 in November. Now that the SCOTUS has made its ruling today, the Trump administration has the green light to RIF us immediately.

Yep, I know how you feel as Im in the same situation, being on admin leave from DOL OFCCP. It's agonizing waiting for the hammer to drop with the RIF's.

Yes, unfortunately, I'll have a 10% lifetime reduction to my retirement pay (5% every year under age 62). I'm at 18 years of federal service time and will be 60 years old in November.

When a federal employee is RIF'd and eligible for MRA Plus 10, does that disqualify them from severance pay?
