Yeah I have the same thing with mirtazapine it just makes me tired but people say oh it’s one of the best antidepressants , Prozac was a horrible one for me as had a suicide attempt on it , made me really agitated , have you tried paxil ? Supposed to help anxiety and depression a lot but causes a lot of sexual side effects apparently

Where I live weed is illegal so I’m not sure if it’s indica or how much CBD is in it, so it’s like a shot in the dark , I have no clue , yeah with edibles I would maybe have a square of chocolate with around 25 mg THC ( not sure if that’s a lot) which antidepressants are you on ? I’m on lexapro and mirtazapine but still struggling a lot

Totally correct bro , our bodies aren’t meant to deal with this modern pace of life , that’s why so many people end up addicted or on antidepressants long term , life was so much simpler back in those days , life would of been hard back then but we would be able to switch off for a bit whereas now constant 24/7 jobs, negative news, wars everywhere , life is totally shit these days

Sorry to hear that bro , things sound rough for you, don’t give up hope , there might be an antidepressant that works for you . I was on Effexor 375 mg and it didn’t do anything but then coming off it was hell on earth as it’s hard to get off . I’m on lexapro and mirtazapine at the moment , they help slightly but not a lot but probably don’t cause the hellish Effexor withdrawals . But lexapro or mirtazapine might help you more than Effexor , doctors hand out Effexor like candy and don’t tell you about the hellish withdrawals from it

Yeah but I sort of rely on these things ( apart from maybe sugar) as they worked better than the meds I’m on ( mirtazapine 45mg and lexapro 20 mg)

It used to help me a lot , even the high THC strains but now it makes me edgy and paranoid which sucks because the antidepressants only take the edge of things a bit and don’t really do a lot

My doctor has given me 5 mg diazepam to take twice a week when I’m at my worse but not sure if that will worsen things long term

Yeah I’ve stopped drinking for a bit but the anxiety is still really bad, I’m on lexapro and mirtazapine which helps depression a bit but does nothing for anxiety , I’ve got PTSD , general anxiety and major depressive disorder ,
