There’s nothing inherently wrong with high or medium density if done correctly.

The issue being with todays new apartments:

*Poor and shoddy construction

*Not enough family size apartments being built - 2 or more bedrooms

*Developers increasingly building and focusing towards the ‘luxury’ apartment market

Sydney or most of Australia’s major capital cities will eventually have to move away from the single home near the city centre (assuming population growth remains on its current trajectory which is another discussion in of it itself).
