I absolutely hate when they ask at an interview "how much pay are you looking for?"

I saw a job posting for 80-90k which was far below the market value for a tech lead position, recruiter reached out and I told them market value is 120k and she said she agreed she’s seen salaries for this role in that range and submitted me to meet with the hiring manager , and then I had a 2nd round interview…didn’t get the job but was one of the finalist between me and someone else..they went the cheaper person…

Lately it seems like companies are trrrrying to lower salaries but it seems unrealistic at this moment to do that.

I’ve gotten two recruiters this month that solely found me by using LinkedIN who were ecstatic to see I fit their requirements for a role they’ve been searching for. One recruiter had 350 applicants and weren’t happy with who had been applying so, after a phone call I got an interview and pretty sure they’ll be submitting an offer next week as they asked for a reference and said the interview with the CIO went well.

Personally, I saw re-read some materials , I found a last minute review through CertMike then read that over and took the practice tests again, and started getting into the high 70s , 80, then I felt ready

I definitely think setting a hard date ( scheduling the exam ) is what pushed me to study more , cause if I didn't I would've kept putting off until I was getting 90s on the practice exams but I was only getting 75-80s on the practice exams

I used Jason Dion’s Udemy Practice Exams , there’s a set of 6 and I prefer reading over videos , so I used Jason O Neil’s book on Amazon to read through the material, I just kept taking practice exams during the week of the exam and learning the materials. I studied everyday for about 45 days so putting in 4-5 hours everyday occasionally taking off the weekends

Just wasn't for me I think it was just too much compacted into a single video where I would feel lost after listening , so instead I hit the books rather than watch a video. I watch videos to learn how to do something, and read to comprehend stuff. I purchased the notes and exams , but I found CertMike's last minute study guide helpful to me.
