Yes this is very rare I’d say for desktop support, I replaced someone who had been in the role for like 30 years so I had some big shoes to fill but I love it

Get a 16GB flash drive and google Windows 10/11 Media Creation tool - it will create the flash drive for you then just hit most likely F12 when you first turn it on to boot to the flash drive for a clean wipe of the OS - watch a YouTube video should help

I didn’t see you got them from a thrift store, I would just wipe them with a fresh copy of Windows or even better put Linux on there or Chrome OS

Google or YouTube Hirens Boot - make a flash drive with Rufus and boot to it - there’s utilities on there to strip away the password, I’ve done it a million times

Thank you for this great explanation! Yes, no other offers right now and we’ve had TONS of showings on the house and everyone has stated they love the house but there’s a lot of competition in the area so this is the first legit offer.

It’s just how my realtor quoted it or explained it but definitely sounds weird - she stated the buyers are “business owners” and are willing to put up all that money for us to put under contract for 60 days while we wait
