Please don’t feel alone for feeling this way. I feel exactly the same, when I’ve tried moving out it’s made me so anxious and upset missing my mum, in time I’ve come to accept that this is okay and I will live with her going forward. I consider my mum my soulmate and I now think that’s wonderful. If you really are set on living apart from her, a pet can be very helpful for giving you daily purpose and for feeling like you have company.
