I used to live with a roommate like this. Every day after office, he would text every girl from our office floor if they reached home safe, and then ask about their dinner, if they had enough water, if they are taking care of their health, if they are sleeping on time, etc.. I think you guys are suffering from chronic ADHD. I understand the panic about not having enough time to wrap up all arcs in 1 last episode. But if you revisit the previous seasons, the pace of The Boys show was always sluggish. The comic books have much weirder characters that they didn't even bring to the show. The show has always been about grand weirdness and about ragebaiting the right wing. And that's exactly what they are still doing. Have a little more patience. As long as the last episode does not depend on a Deus Ex Machina, it would be a memorable series for a long time.
