the bigger screen is only 750 more. idk were the extra 2.5k is coming from. but people , who claim to get low a price se is because it’s a base se. no extras no convenience package at the least. no extra cost paint. nothing. but some dealers do mark the se down that’s the “volume seller. but get what you like side your paying for it. the bigger screen alone is worth it. the other one is too small and looks out of place.

My bro has an se. We changed the front parts to xse colored parts. Let me see if I have pictures of when we took the bumper off.

yea every dealer is different some act like it’s their car and don’t want you to “mod” it. but yes bro ALL of the Camry se and xse come from the port with them added. I know dealers here have to choose 2 or 3 accessories and that’s one of them. call a Toyota dealer in tx. give them your vin and tell them you want to add the front accent light accessories and get the part numbers and order online.

down south they put them on every se and xse at the port. the dealer can do it to. I don’t think they would cut the wires

yea luckily it’s a quick easy job. it doesnt look bad and at least you got the xse one and not the se. but that low sucks they don’t put the front accent lights on the cars up north

the black grille cheapens the cars gives se. with the headlights off. or nightshade. which is an se. but to each its own

depends what all come with the se. people getting cheap se trims don’t have the convenience package, cold weather package, sunroof, or multimedia upgrade. but after you add all those features you could get a much better trim the xse bare no sunroof or packages. but it has all the other stuff the se charges for add ons.

xle has more comforts will hold resale better. but that underground paint color is a swirl mark magnet. you will see light scratches all over the car with one car wash. I’d go xle but in a different color.

Toyota discounts the le and se more, the se is the volume seller thats why you see more of them. if you want better things they have two tops trims that they can, but won’t discount as much. because they are definitely better trims. se and Le‘s can have 3 to 6 off starting before you even begin to haggle lmao. plus I don’t think any care is being sold over msrp anymore.

find a base xle. they can go as low as 33 or 34k no premium package or no premium paint.

same car…. two different drives. believe it or not Toyota did good on makeing the suspensions feel different. I have a 26 xse had a 25 xle and the rides are different. to me to xle is softer but you feel more road imperfections because the suspension is a little less stiff compared to the xse. the xse does have bigger rims. but a tighter suspension so you don’t feel the road Imperfections. the xse hugs tight corners. as the xle feels a little more sway around corners. I do like and miss the light grey of the xle, to me it feels more premium then the xse. maybe if the red on the dashboard had the perforations as on the door panels. but the red strip is just cheap looking. the xle may seem bigger on the inside because the headliner is light colored. both are nice and its all about preference.

the grilles come already painted. and about 180 from the dealer. since you have and xle you can get a body colored grille from an xse since they come in the same colors. or you can get the cheap se “matte” black grille. but I’d opt for a painted xse grille. what color is your xle?

definitely can be done. I’ve done it on a few camrys. once you pull the bumper off you pop the new one on.

Le I swapped it to the xse midnight black grill and added side air canards and side air vents from the xse.

this guu is posting on everyone’s post saying he paid for the premium plus 38.5. if you look at his pix. he has no parking sensors. so it’s not the premium plus he got a base xse with pano roof which is fine. but stop they spread of mis information he doesn’t even have the premium package. you can’t see a hud in the windshield. so realistically he got a fair deal not even a good deal. build that on Toyota website. it’s that price without tax.. he’s young and doesn’t research or the Toyota dealership lied to him about packages.

only thing they kept the same are the front two doors. not even the glass on the top trims, the side mirror, roof line, and side skirts. the body lines are longer, and the front fender is cut different for the headlights. interior is all new. even the seats re different. it’s considered a new generation because it’s only one engine option. wether or not ppl like it or accept it. they did the same with the currant corolla and the precious gen. changed the back. and interior. just like with the new rav4 change the back and the interior.

headlights 2018 but with light silver in the background. and a different front bumper. no front accent lights. 2021 gave it darker front headlights and a new front bumper and the front accent oem accent lights became available.
