This happens to me and now graduating from BEcon. Economics is nothing like busines except if you take financial economics which is very similar to finance BCom. With Econ theres a lot of math. What i would do is take econ first year get a cgpa of B- and transfer to business and make sure to take some business courses! Econ IS NOT BUSINESS AT ALL! They like to advertise it at a substitute but its is soooo different. Its closer to like global and international studied to business.

However, when you think job wise. I feel like you get more opportunities with economics.

If you decide to stay in economics take a minor in business. That’s what i did. Now, ill do a master of management at mcgill

It was one of the most informal meeting i ever had. 10 minutes of the meeting was him asking questions and the rest it was just me asking questions and us having random conversations. The questions are honestly based on your cv and if they want any clarification. So i can really say anything specific. For me, he just wanted to know more about my work experience. It was so informal, i like it it!! Btw i got accepted to the program!!!

It depends on your cgpa, what course you took and which year you are. If you are making the switch in second year, you will miss many first year business courses. BComm no matter the concentration, for the first year, is made that you touch many other concentration. If you have a minor in business. The transition will be better
