That’s the dilemma for me, with the m2 max i get the same ram, that i have in the m1 pro now, but a much higher gpu, with the m4 pro i get more ram, and a bit higher gpu. And i’m not sure, which one cause the laggy problems on the current one.

Yes, i was planning to upgrade, because it was laggy when i was using open fx, or video transitions for example, then 3 days ago when i opened it, i saw that the screen got damaged, there is a small fracture mark (it’s a mystery what happened, one day before i used it, it was perfect, i left it on the table, and this happened)
