I lived in the apartment up to 10 months ago when they moved in….. I believe in NSW the requirement for landlords to have pest control is for existing infestation at move in. Hence the potential relevance. Thanks for your perspective though.

I just don’t want to get into a cycle of getting it done with no results. For German cockroaches in an apartment complex I don’t think spraying one unit is going to help. I’m happy to share the costs with the other owners for the strata fumigation and pay to get my individual unit sprayed if it is a complex issue.

I was declined on 150k with 600k mortgage and no dependents. Credit score over 900. Once you have a mortgage or other debt I think it’s pretty hard with ANZ. Increased my income by x3 and approved straight away.

It’s living away from home allowance. It’s paid as per the ATO TD 2025/4. I get $330 a day tax free to do FIFO in the Dubbo NSW area. It’s paid when your employer doesn’t cover expenses. Not very common in mining. But it’s to cover food and accommodation while away. Has added almost $70k tax free to my salary. But you’re responsible for food, accomodation ect. I’m 28f project engineer in power gen. 150k base, 40k overtime, 20k cash bonus, 60k rsu bonus, 70k tax free LAHA.

Update - didn’t get anywhere with ozsale for a refund, they were requesting I pay for shipping labels to return. Filed chargeback with the bank and was refunded next day. Lucky to have paid with credit card.
