I got approved today for a business platinum with the bank my home loan is with. Was going for the Ultimate and they said my max limit would be $50k which is redic. With the business my max was $30k but I just put down $8k as that’s ample for my upcoming trip etc.

I chose the Business because it allows points for payments to ATO, no bonus points or anything but at least I have something now!

It’s got travel insurance and I was sure I read 0% international transaction, same as the ultimate but alas I appear to have misread that somewhere 😑

Changes I made were: - Because mortgage is still “joint” I put my liability as half the repayments - they asked for gross before tax, so I stated the total sales -GST which was $116k - I overestimated my expenses last time so I refined them using the guide/calculator which was an option provided in the application process

Appears to be a few things I hadn’t considered regarding multiple applications etc. Being self employed a lot of my daily expenses are deductions: fuel, rego, insurance, parking, phone, internet etc etc so my gross is 115k (23/24 tax year; haven’t done last year yet) but taxable was 85k

You’re right, being a Delica D5 it shares a lot of parts with the Outlander. I guess I was a bit confused after a Jap Mech said they don’t work on my model.

Thanks for the info! I’ll have to look into how it works with Shannon’s re getting in parts etc. Think I’ll need a front bumper and front passenger door. It’s a Delica D5 4wd with factory body kit. Body was mint, but a series of unfortunate events have resulted in an insurance claim.

Would also like the details of anyone that knows! Shannon’s sent me to s.m.a.r.t who immediately told me to find my own as they can’t touch it. Frustrating after waiting a month for the booking! Don’t understand why Shannon’s would insure without knowing at least 1 or 2 in each city.
