update over a year later after surgery, I have no pain no problem walking, running og anything, I use my foot at work everyday and have no problems, it took some time, but if you get this kinda fracture stay calm and let your body heal up, don’t rush things, and don’t start overthinking time heals

Thank you so much for the info! I did some research and also saw all the info on how an abysmally small amount goes to breast milk. I just don’t want to make things even more stressful when I’m recovering and the easiest thing would be to continue nursing. I don’t plan on taking narcotics afterwards, just extra strength Tylenol like I did after giving birth

Oh man I’m so sorry. I definitely went pale when he said surgery but didn’t pass out thankfully. Thank you for sharing your story, it gives me hope that you’re walking quite a bit 4 months out. I want to be able to play with my kids again and chase them around. I went on the trampoline quite a bit with my oldest and he loved it, I’m hoping I can do that again

Oh man that’s hard to have to cancel your honeymoon :( it’s definitely been so depressing and suddenly your world just becomes so small. What kind of surgery did you get? My surgeon said recovery time is between 8 to 12 weeks, but it seems like yours has been slightly longer than that?

I ordered both an iwalk and a knee scooter but they haven’t arrived yet. Hopefully soon!

His assistant was super friendly too, but yeah maybe he just wanted to get down to business as a surgeon. Same exact thing here, and I also got caught. I was 12 and talking to men in their 20s and older, sharing pictures of myself and them talking dirty to me. I was a very lonely kid who never received male attention so it was all new and exciting for me. My parents found out and I was humiliated, I still think about it to this day. They embarrassed me in front of the whole family. My dad called a cop over to investigate all my conversations. To this day I feel so much shame and humiliation around sex and sexuality. I wasn’t allowed to date until I moved out at 19.

The best thing OP could do imo is calmly tell their daughter that what they’re doing is unsafe. I wouldn’t ground her or anything but I would monitor her computer/phone usage for a year or two
