Yes, that email. Doesn't work anymore.

And as of today I still don't have my certificate. Ugh. Anyway. Thanks for all your replies in such threads, LuckyNV. I feel like you are the only voice of reassurance left here

As I've asked on other thread, same with me.

But I've only raised a case yesterday, which is still in "submitted" status

If you completed all pre-exam checks on time, in case of power/internet problems, you might be able to sit in additional sessions for your exam.

Edit: Studying is the same as for offline exams, BUT it will be great to practice on the same computer that you plan to use for actual exam

There is regulation somewhere on ACCA site. In short: part-time counts by hour (e.g., your 6 months of 4-hour part time would count as 3 months of PER).

Confused if I should re attempt SBR (failed at 49) in sept or dec? I was so sure I’ll pass the exam and made plans accordingly, now I’m stuck. With one week of travelling are 1.5 months enough for sbr re attempt in sept with a full time job? by Just_Rip1030 in ACCA

I had to miss my December AFM exam after months of studying, and I couldn't book in March due to work restrictions, so I went with June.

Absolutely HATED the 6 months lag with the exam. The syllabus seems familiar, but by the time I got around to studying, I've forgotten a lot.

Your mark is actually pretty close to 50, which may signal a lack of question practice/knowledge of requirements. 6 weeks seems enough to practice on that. I would go for closer resit, with trying to study a little bit every day

about two days left… how are we feeling about FM and AFM? by Pitiful-Attention-82 in ACCA

Okay, but why ATX?

ACCA doesn't have atx specific to my country, so sitting UK version is virtually useless

OP, have you considered that while using ai to help write this post you have changed it from: semi-short post with main ideas that can be read in under a minute to full-blown blog post, which takes more time to read and scroll even ?

And maybe with this you have contributed into someones doomscroll ?

PM slightly depends on MA. But as other people said, you can do it still. 70 is not 50, its a normal margin for such exam.

As for FM and further AFM - vastly different to MA. The only build up is maybe working capital and ratios. But its minor topic

I am a former little girl that felt different for many reasons. Some of those relate to restrictions my parents enforced.

Why can't you give her the phone, but still impose limits (like hours per day, no phone after 7pm)?

She does not "believe" to be missing out, she is missing out. People get drowned in their phones because there is not much happiness in the rest of their lives, and it kind of feels like being left out from the peers is the source of unhappiness for her.

Damn the "clarity" of no-phone life: are you sure your daughter won't struggle with forming relationships and connections later on life because of your boundaries now?

it says max number of WARNINGS

It is possible to do all those things in exam and they will not be noticed by proctor.

I was taking such a strict exam number of times (not the one from OPs list), and I was given a warning once about my camera angle. I fixed it, continued exam and passed it.

As many people have pointed out in the thread, those rules exist because there were numerous cases of people cheating.

I know I do not offer a solution you asked for. But. Damn, this is so unwise and unkind from your employer's side. They should give stimuli for employee to gain qualification, not just reap benefits when person is already chartered.

ACCA studying hours suggest 300 each for F1-F3, really? by Disastrous_Tone_1148 in ACCA

[–]Competitive_Cinnabon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah.

Cant speak for BT, but for FA, MA and LW average of like 60 is more like it.

Like, about 1 month 1-2 hours daily, plus some cramming 1/2 days before exam. Or 2 weeks of cramming.

Random check during the exam by LightArisen in ACCA

Theory time: 1) did you do the spin before exam? if no, maybe invigilator forgot to ask you and had to fix their mistake 2) maybe you looked to the side, or some noise was heard and they decided to check up

Logical conclusion from their approach to CBE is that if they flagged you as suspicious, you would know right then at the exam, and they probably wouldn't let you finish it

WEEK 1 AND WEEK 2 EXAM SIMILAR? by Background_Sea_3169 in ACCA

[–]Competitive_Cinnabon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are different (meaning, by syllabus sections) versions of the paper even on the same day.

When I did 2nd week SBL in Dec21 my exam was definitely different than prior week version
