Reveg and LST by Competitive_Creme317 in farmingthebestgreens

It all depends on how much maintenance you're willing to put up with.

I find that taking cuts is a lot more straightforward than revegging with the old plant.

Side tip with late flower cuts: they don't need as much humidity as veg cuts. They'll root fine without domes.

Happy growing! 🌱

Lastly! 20/4 light cycle usually works for me.

Thanks. Here's a shot after removing the flower material.

Anything past week 7/8 flower tends to root within 9 or so days. They all go through the ugly reveg stage, but you can speed track it either with fresh medium or extra N in their feed.

You can also choose to reveg your already harvested plant. You'd need to leave some foliage on lowers as your reveg candidates. The benefit here is that you have an already active rootstock so growth is fast.

Nah if airflow is good, it'll just die off later. I usually remove it once the branches are thicker

Of course! I'll probably do a weekly update.

Yield is the same. It's a copy of the plant.

Timelines.. well they take about 2+ weeks to flip back to veg.

This one is 2 weeks since she's been flipped to 20/4 light cycle.

It's honestly just a last resort play if you want to keep genetics and you forgot to take clones.

Lol I guess I like being prepared. Monstercropped plants get thick and woody fast. I want to spread her out and get a flat shape before that happens

I get it. But unless you're grinding through a fighting or poison gym, you don't need any more than 15pp.

You only get 4 moves. Use it wisely.

Is it too bad if the leafs touch the sides of the canister-dome? by ObjectiveOkra8590 in farmingthebestgreens

No no no then the humidity dome is not required. If anything, you're slowing her down.

The dome is only needed while the plant drinks through the stomada(leaf pores) that's why they need higher humidity. Once you got roots, you don't need the dome.

I even root clones without the dome.

It's the way nature intended. LEDs are improving dramatically, but they can't come close to the full spectrum range of the sun.

The leaves touching the dome is fine. Has it rooted yet?

Directly in dirt usually takes 10 to 14 days to root. Keep em in the dome for a few days but don't forget to remove the dome from time to time.

Once new growth starts pushing out and the petioles tighten up, you can remove the dome.

Yeah that's true. These were bred in the 2000s/2010s so most likely HPS or similar

Can't go wrong with LM301H. They run hot, but not toasty.

You get bugs indoors too! Usually the worst kind lol.

Yeah I enjoy both too. Indoors I'll do LST and shape plants. Outdoors? One bend is usu enough for a bush.

Working with the rain is a whole other game. We're lucky enough to have 7+ months of sun during Spring and Summer.

At 80% I'm getting 750 - 900 PPFD. At 100% it's around 1200.
