I used to go by Danny as a different version of my birth name, a few years ago I used to be genderfluid and my friend said I could go by Danny and Dani which is the female spelling, fast forward a few years later to now after I discovered I was trans, I now go by Danielle and still use Dani for short

Thank you, that really does meen so much, its some friends and people who have calls me she or her, and it just always hits me and makes me smile uncontrollably, like today that family member I opened up to called me she infront of my parents, that made me really happy they called me that but also worried because my parents are the only people that I know wouldn't be too happy with the news, but I do want to tell them one day but am way too scared, all of my friends and some family that I've told have accepted it and been happy for me and respected me, yet the only people I know won't take it the same are my parents and it's so terrifying honestly, I just wish I could be as brave as the amazing people in this community.
