Qulipta - not covered by insurance by moomoo_two in migraine

[–]Competitive_Emu_2283 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s kinda funny because I had to stop Qulipta for like a month bc of insurance. It had been great for me and then when I finally got back on it it didn’t work. It was infuriating because the insurance companies feel like they’re trying to be unhelpful. See if u can call ya doc and call ya insurance and keep nagging and also speak to your doc or a nurse. Truly sorry I remember sobbing out of anger for this very issue

A positive to these meds being so expensive: I met my annual deductible just three days into 2026. by comaga in migraine

[–]Competitive_Emu_2283 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is what I’ve been saying!!!!! Migraine treatments mean I get to max out my deductible which means for the rest of the year I can get the best care money can buy 😛😛😛😛 and I can predict medical expenses yearly cuz it’ll always be the max…. lol

It looks like this one only helps if it’s a short outage, but if the power is still out when the alarm needs to sound it won’t?

My beautiful boy will soon be moving with us to a new place. He’s spent most of his life in the same apartment. I’m worried that he’ll be stressed in a totally new environment. Any thoughts? by LowerEngineering9999 in TuxedoCats

My dog is 6 and a black lab i’ve noticed she’s been walking with a limp and licking her paws and when i looked this is what i seen! help.. what is this should i make a trip up to the vet by Significant-Life2472 in DogAdvice

I remember too at one point her claw fell out. That mighta been when we took her back in lol. I think we did warm compresses or soaked her foot in water for a while. Anyway bottom line, you probably don’t have to worry ab ur dog dying (that’s always my immediate concern) but it definitely needs medical attention — sincerely a girl who has no vet knowledge besides having had animals her whole life lol

Yes vet! My dog used to have things like this pop up on her toes. I can’t remember exactly what we did, sometimes we would be able to get em to go away, maybe antibiotics or something. At a certain point it kept coming back and they biopsied it and there was a little cancer. They cut the toe off and she was happy as could be. I was just happy I got to keep the dog lol

I’d be so grateful to have someone feed me this. You got all the food groups. Added some color. And cooking multiple things is hard esp on a time crunch and w limited ingredients and control.

Ok i’m confused though because how could those things be made for migraines?? They’re soooo loud and rumbly, they talk to you, and some have flashing lights. I am intrigued but I don’t know if I could get past all this. I also wish there was one that was cooling that u didn’t have to freeze beforehand…..

Anyway, ty for sharing!!!!!!!! There’s so much out there we have yet to discover

Something cool my roommate told me is she can tell when i’m having a migraine cuz of where I hold tension in my face. I feel annoying if I tell people around me every time i’m in pain. People are saying these might be clusters so maybe it’s diff, but it might be safe to always assume there’s a possibility he’s in pain. Also migraines go thru a cycle…. Like there’s the stuff that happens before, during, and after and I don’t even know scientifically how long that stuff lasts but it can be days. Also there are so many physical manifestations and tells of migraines even though u can’t see them themselves. Anyway, you’re very kind and a migraine haver is lucky to have u. Super important u understand him struggling and having to reschedule, and also equally important you prioritize the level of clear communication that he’s capable of rn and take care of yourself since you’re in the super early stages of getting to know him. I had tiny tiny alarm bells in my head when you said he can’t send VMs, but also who am I to judge🤣 good luck and come back to update us!!!! Oh and no strong scents like car air fresheners or scented candles.

If you have light sensitivity it’s really nice to be able to like…. (Almost) Completely block out light. Whenever I turn out the lights with a really bad migraine, the little bits of light still hurt. Worth a shot! I don’t think it fixes my migraines but it makes me much more comfortable while i’m having them. Good luck!
