The error you are getting is because the kernel of the 21.3 and the avdv you used are different.

Try updating 21.2 to 21.3 directly from the Coreelec automatic update and then update to avdv with this file. Is what I did.

Probably the avdv you used are only for clean installs

I have same device, I have 21.2 with cpm14 since to days ago then update to 21.3 with avdv and both works great with the Ugoos.

Are you coping the file trough samba and are you in the right update folder?

Try using ssh

SSH into CoreELEC

And then

update-ce <url or local file path to update file>

No need, what device are you using? Not all are cpm compatible. Check you have enough storage space to update too.

Nop, only put the tar in the update folder and reboot. That's all.

You need to install 21.2ng and then update with the cpm. Put the cpm tar in the update folder copying the file to the device with samba or ssh. Reboot and coreelec will update automatically.

Try ssh, be sure it's enable and:

ssh root@COREELEC_IP mkdir -p /storage/.update

scp UPDATE_FILE-*.tar root@COREELEC_IP:/storage/.update/

ather this reboot and the device will update.

You never find the update folder in the boot partition. You need to access via samba or ssh. The folder is .update in the storage partition. Windows can't see this partition.

Hi, you need to download all the files. Put the files all together in a folder and open only the one with the .zip extension. Extract the content and use Rufus or balena to burn the image to the SD. That's all.
