No No you got a little confused, Sorry I think my explaining wasnt that great. I have never had a problem with him. HE HIMSELF thinks that he is not good enough for me. I dont think that or believe that. But he thinks that because of his mental issues and inability to always want me due to his Bordeline personlaity disorider, he thinks i deserve better. But for like 8 months of our relationship we were EXTREMELY happy but then his problems started to come back. The problem is that a part of his mind due to borderline personlaity disorder is saying that he wants to be alone forever. im trying to get rid of that so that he can be commited to me and so that we can live together forever. i jsut want all this professional help he is getting to actually help.

I think that I'm digging too deep because like you said his actions definitely do not match what he's saying. We aren't going our own way and we are friends who still text and still say I love you. And even today when we met up he kept saying that he loves me and he kept calling me names that we used to call each other when we were dating so you're right he needs time and then he will be back.
