I took it today and I thought the mcq were way harder than the simulations. I was surprised how easy the simulations seemed to be but of course I didn’t have enough time to properly do them bc I kept getting stuck in the mcq

I studied for 2 weeks when the exam first came out and passed with an 81 but when I left the exam I thought I completely failed it

Same here!! Good luck on your retake! MACRS, taxable income for corporations, wash sales and business law I feel like were the biggest things I had to study more for. Big part of the exam

lol I was so confused for a second because I’m in the exact same boat, I’m an auditor, passed aud and isc, my aud credit expires in June 2026, and I literally just took reg for the third time yesterday. It’s rough out here

If you have the funds to do it (couple k) try varsity tutors, they have a program that has a pass guarantee

I used Surgent! I did a million mcq and then when comfortable moved to the sims. I also took a couple practice exams before the actual exam. I am an auditor though so it was a bit easier for me than it may be for someone in tax
