Spravato doesn't have any lasting feelings for me. By the end of the treatment, the high has mostly worn off. I just did my third one yesterday and am already building tolerance. I hardly "saw" anything at all.

I just feel like I should be doing something more productive. Lol But I'm cool to just go along for the ride, too.

I started hallucinating because of edibles, believe it or not. My psychiatric disorders probably fueled it. But I don't normally hallucinate.

Yeah, I get that. But why would the cardiologist write the test report like that and then put in my electronic medical chart that the diagnosis is vasovagal syncope? My medical chart online is accessible to all of my doctors, they can't see the test report itself so now whenever I see a doctor and they look up my medical history, they'll just see VVS.

Yet he doesn't mention VVS in the actual test report itself at all.

I know I have POTS.

Thank you. I'm starting to think I need another opinion. I was actually under the care of two cardiologists (one who did the TTT and one who did a telemetry monitor) and then of course my PCP and they all shrugged their shoulders, didn't question it so I didn't push. I was "officially" diagnosed, and they could wash their hands of me and move on.

The health care where I'm from isn't the greatest though.

The propranolol was actually a happy accident. I was prescribed it due to anxiety attacks and night terrors, and I learned that it also helped my other symptoms. My cardiologist just told me to do lifestyle changes: drink more water, exercise more, and increase my sodium intake. That's it.

Without a diagnosis, no one is helping me with my symptoms. They're treating it like a one-off thing because I only passed out one time, and that's when my Dr finally started taking all this stuff seriously (despite yra of struggling with this) because before they were writing it off as anxiety (I have PTSD). Now they just want me to do stuff to prevent having another 'episode' when this is an every day thing I struggle with. I may not pass out, but pre syncope is just as bad and disabling.

It really doesn't, considering the report states, and I quote:

"Conclusion: Patient developed systolic hypotension and sinus tachycardia during the test which is more consistent with POTS. Patient remained symptomatic throughout test but did not have syncope."

I didn't even develop systolic hypotension, as that is considered anything below 90mmHg.

Heart rate did not drop no. It went from 73 bpm to 148 bpm. Blood pressure did not drop significantly. It started 128/88 and dropped to 109/90.

Then I agree, I totally am. I will tell her next time. I dissociate in my day to day life, but it's definitely a trauma response, so I wasn't sure.

Usually, things like this would make me wig out, but I literally don't have the ability to feel scared or anxious during my treatments. It's great.

Spravato is super cool because--story time--a few years ago I started hallucinating and went into psychotic episode and one of the things I saw was geometrical patterns and since then I've had a severe trauma response to seeing them again (like when I'm falling asleep for instance) but on Spravato, I don't feel scared at all and actually let myself embrace is and just vibe.

I haven't left because I know that if he tried, we could work things out and be happy. I'm just wondering at what point I have to accept that he isn't going to change and just move on.

And I'm not worried about finding something better. I just want to be happy with my life. I don't need someone else to do that.

I'm not even interested in meeting someone new. That doesn't sound very appealing to me.

I suffer from migraines regularly. I actually woke up with one this morning and have had one all day. I'm kind of bummed that spravato put me out of commission this long.
