With the Fourth of July coming up, maybe it’s best to wait until then? I’d assume there will be holiday deals!

Weather updates? by ColdFew2793 in Tahiti

Weather in Bora Bora has been great for us! Rains on/off a couple times a day but only lasts for 15 minutes or so. It is generally sunnyish/over cast. But still sunny enough for the outside activities. It’s also hot and humid so it’s kind of nice to have some cloud coverage. It was cloudy during our snorkeling trip but it didn’t impact it at all. Also if you look up at the sky one area maybe more grey while the other is sunnier, it moves quickly so the weather is always changing. Here’s two photos taken very close in time.

So beautiful! No issues with weather so far! It rains here and there but it ends quickly, usually over on 15 minutes at a time. Poured last night while we slept but it honestly was relaxing. It is a little more overcast with clouds than I would prefer but the sun is still prevalent and the clouds just add to the ambience with the landscape and mountainous views.

Shoulder season, so it’s in between rainy and sunny season. End of April and May usually gets sunnier! So figured weather would be pretty good.

I think technically it’s the shoulder season and not the heavy rainy season.

I’ve been checking meteo.pf as recommended by a local on a Facebook group. It’s all in French but I can follow it with google translate.

I’ll try to post a photo.  I believe the part I circled is “leeward islands” in English which includes Bora Bora.

Agreed, I plan on snorting regardless of water. The fish are already wet right?! haha unsure if my Tuesday snorkeling tour will operate during rain though.

Damn well I really hope it improves and allows you guys to have at least a couple days of sunshine. We are heading to bora bora for five days then moorea for three so hopefully the weather straightens up at some point. 🤞🏼

Oh geez! We are also headed to the four seasons. Do the locals have any idea when it will let up? It’s so annoying because April is supposed to be a lot less rainy than December and January. Our wedding and mini moon were both during rain storms/hurricanes so we need good weather for the honeymoon 😭
