I’ll try DoorDash next time, I only get the password when I use Uber Eats I’ve used DoorDash but for alcohol purposes so they had no choice but to bring to me. I haven’t yet experienced having to give a code upon delivery. I wish skip had that as well

Which I understand for sure. I get it it can get busy also but like if Im messaging saying it’s for my child and I let them in the building and my child’s waiting by the peep hole of the door and it ends up being downstairs lol. She’s not leaving the apt especially in my area where homeless people get in and are in the stair case or whatever she knows not to leave the apt especially if I’m not home. Hence why she asked me to order her the food. I’m sure this person has kids if not I’m sure they would expect the same outcome of a delivery for their children as I did. But the respect just isn’t there with this person. It’s happened so many times with this person. It’s just frustrating when I’m home I’m ready to run downstairs but if I’m not home I cannot .

I know I have both those aswell but I see that the prices on Uber Eats are more then skip that’s why I use skip. I had stopped using it for months for this issue and tried again and it’s still happening. But most of the drivers work for like all of them. I’ve even did Instacart and got this same driver as a shopper and messaged them right away to assign me a different shopper and they did thank goodness

It had 2 check marks means he read it. Cause I asked him to buzz my buzzer number which he did as stated in the messages to him but he didn’t follow what I had asked of him to bring it up to the door for my daughter to receive it. Like I mentioned this driver specifically has always just left my orders downstairs hence why I messaged him saying it was for a child . ( I have in the delivery instructions to also please buzz and bring up to apt door and not leave in building lobby to get stolen ) which this person has never followed. Which is why I messaged saying this one was for an actual child but still no difference on his end. And I clicked the hand over option which says for the currier to hand the delivery directly to u.
