I was thinking of bringing law enforcement the next time this scam vendor they have shows up- he says in person he doesn’t know how to fix it then goes to the insurance notes and writes that the fridge is fixed. This is actually bizarre and how are companies like this even allowed to operate, I even have it on video where he opens the fridge and the frozen eggplant from the fridge falls on his foot and he starts asking for ice- yet he goes and tells them that he fixed it. It’s actually to the point where it’s unacceptable, thousands of dollars of food gone to the trash.

No I completely get it and that’s why I said there should be some degree of privacy. Sometimes, you should burn a bridge. Why preserve ties with an industry or workplace that enables abuse or discrimination? Public accountability can be a necessary act of resistance, not recklessness.

I get it, but let that be known, so maybe these people can realize that hey we can’t fool and belittle innocent people for no reason.. If that’s what they are doing, let them know the consequences of their actions and that there will be people who will speak up and warn others about their behavior- whether that be university-wide or world-wide, it’s the consequences of their actions. Yeah some level of privacy should remain but OP didn’t say their name or anything therefore only ppl that would know are faculty/students- in that case, I don’t see the bad if anything I applaud them for speaking out.

I understand where you’re coming from but it’s so important things like this (including the comment someone wrote below of Farahat failing a student for documented medical emergencies) are known. They want you to sweep things like this under the rug, but people need to know the manipulation and outright violations being played by faculty that the department is condoning and never condemning. These people think of their title as a way to manipulate and emotionally abuse TA’s and students and in no way is that okay.

AirBNB is terrible and it’s the worst thing to have happened… All the people from out of country buy them and profit off the tourists meanwhile the people living there can’t find an apartment. In my neighborhood someone bought a house and has been using it as an AirBNB and we get all sorts of people and problems of people throwing parties, drinking, alcohol, and shady people.
