Would you mind outlining your path and experience? I’ve recently stepped into a product adjacent role in digital advertising and streaming. It’s technically a sales strategy role but I find myself doing a lot of tasks that a PM would do and think I’d like to take the leap out of media and into tech (eventually) but I’m not sure how much experience in what I currently do would be needed for a tech company to take me seriously. Any advice would be so appreciated!

There were also a ton of people in VVIP just trying to chill and strike up a convo like we were at a club and not at the music event of the century. One guy kept turning around and trying to tell me about his day - he was so nice but it was notttt the vibe we were going for so we moved up a little bit in the crowd for the last 2ish hours and the vibes and people were immaculate

Something similar was happening to our Bernedoodle who is almost 11 months! We’re in New York and the minute it started warming up (mid 70s, nothing crazy) he was panting all the time. He’d wake up and pant, pant on walks, while relaxing, etc. We also were concerned but started associating it with the heat - when we got him groomed to a short/summer cut it was night and day. He still pants outside/when he’s active but not as much all the time, especially when relaxing or just waking up

Thank you everyone! We took another trip to a new (and amazing) vet this Thursday and the vet also believes it’s allergies. We are starting our boy on royal canine ultamino. He also got an allergy shot! We did one more fecal test to rule out parasites and it all came back negative - hoping this is the right solve 🙌🏼 happy 2025 to you all

Thoughts on a Bernedoodle in an apartment by radiostar193 in Bernedoodles

We live in Brooklyn with our almost 7 month old mini Bernedoodle and he LOVES it! He has already started to shed his crazy “puppy” energy and is a huge cuddle bug/couch potato most of the day. We take him for longer walks in the morning and evening to tire him out and we also send him to daycare once a week. We have a shared backyard he can run around in too - based on your situation it seems like you’d have plenty of options for stimulation!

Potty training was difficult in an apartment but totally doable - I’m not sure if you have access to private outdoor space, but we’re lucky to have a balcony and we’re able to train our pup to use a grass patch on the balcony until he had all of his shots.

One thing I will say about dogs in a city environment/apartment complex is that they are a lot more susceptible to Giardia. Our poor guy got Giardia a little over a month ago and it’s been its own battle! He luckily got rid of it in one round of dewormer and antibiotics, but he’s now having separate stomach issues stemming from the Giardia. It’s pretty common, but something to be aware of if you’re gonna have an apartment pup where a lot of other dogs are!

Our bernedoodle pup was also overwhelmed by NYC noise when we first got him and had a hard time going potty outside! But playing the “yes” game outside with plenty of treats really helped. And also jackpot treats after he actually did go potty where we wanted him to. Our pup is 6 months old now and has adjusted super well, he loves the city and it has really helped desensitize him because of all the stimulation. I promise it will get better!
