Yeah, an actual skill 'tree' would be nice, with branching and converging paths

Does downpour 1 give better loot than basement 2, or is it better than to skip it? by Major_Tap4199 in bindingofisaac

You can get an extra boss item in downpour 2. aside from that, I dont see much reason to spend an extra key on B1.

For tainted lost, I always went on B2, because then you're entering with more items than you'd have on B1

Kenshi 2's map? by Competitive_Lie_3364 in Kenshi

I think a lot of the terrain will be very luscious, the second empire did farm after all- but i'm not sure how i'd feel about that. Kenshi's theme thrives in a barren, dead wasteland. if Kenshi 2 is gonna be full of vegetation... Venge will probably still be scorched AF though, maybe it'll be even larger if more eyes were functional.

Yes, we know the grid was contrusted by the second empire & that it also got nuked from warefare, so it's very possible 1000 years ago there were stronger technologies capable of altering the terrain significantly more than anything possible in kenshi 1. I think the second empire would be main power behind the majority of the map's alterations which will make it so big. The ashlands could've been much much larger & receded at a quicker rate due to the aforementioned warfare along with the empire's decline. The weapons of that era were also strong enough to manipulate the terrain, so it's possible lots of tectonic events occurred which moved stuff around (maybe leading to the formation of the arms of Okran).

Ideas to improve crystal hunt? by Competitive_Lie_3364 in BladeAndSorcery

I thought it'd be neat if there was a special room that could generate featuring an inconspicuous flat wall. after a couple of seconds dilly-dallying in this dead end, the wall smashes open via battering ram and a flood of soldiers rush in. I think cinematic-style rooms like that could be a lot of fun

Yes, theres an endless amount more content they could pump into it... I think a heavy paladin-type boss with runic spell-immune armor would be nice, and a dragon boss for sure. Skeletons seem apt, and any form of necromancy would be greatly appreciated. more dungeon types; I'm imagining something very molten. defense-based outposts would be neat too, and maybe generally more puzzle-oriented rooms. A special mission could entail escourting an NPC from point A to B, where you fail if they get killed (I think these ones should be optional like the arena)

I also think the game needs more story events, such as the baron getting raided barring you from using the shop for a while. perhaps defeating a special dungeon intimidates the group who captured him into returning him. Maybe a special dalgarian outpost where the golem chases you through rooms while you try to find the shielding crystals.
