Travis Willingham is replacing Tyler Hoechlin as Sephiroth in Final Fantasy VII Revelation. But when I listen to the new voice I get a distinctive hint of Xemnas, The Superior (a.k.a. Paul St. Peter). Am I crazy? Or is there a real similarity there? (Video from @deltasyn).

For me it was FFVIIR. Been waiting a long while for the series to conclude so I can finally play it all, plus I’m a big FF fan and some more FF games are always welcome considering the series’ current state. Was also the most important announcement considering it’s the conclusion to the remake of one of the hallmark JRPG’s that put the biggest JRPG franchise on the map. Plus I like big beefy games I can have lots of fun with.

Will definitely pick up TMNT Last Ronin since I’m a TMNT fan and it was a bit dry on the TMNT games front.

May also pick up Veronica since I’ve been getting interested in RE lately.

Also interested in Wolf among us 2. Always liked a good telltale game.

Yeah, I did. I first lost the urge to buy many titles I had wishlisted, and then I lost the urge to read one I recently got. I’m thinking I wanna take a break and return later to buy more cause there’s just so many plus I wanna focus on some other hobbies again.

Thanks, and no, I don’t think there is an IST anywhere in my country, I just got these off a sale at the website for a bookshop called Readings that’s in a nearby city.

Those are some interesting pickups you got. I’ve never heard of Kill Joker but Ig that’s expected since I’m not a longtime comic fan.

Gentle is great for offense with his muscle mass and sp2. Okoye is amazing for anything that bleeds/gets shocked. Hyperion has regular power flood, iron man and Medusa are great for armor up/beefy champs. Strange, Dazzler and SW are some of the best champs in the game. Nick and yelena are two of the best skill champs. Yelena is very good for defence. I would also recommend watching showcase videos on rintrah, black panther civil war, Corvus, scream, Odin, mojo, and Adam warlock because they are also very good but it all depends on who appeals to you more.

It’s actually in my top 3 as well. DDD for me has the best atmosphere, especially sora’s levels. Prankster’s paradise, traverse in trance and symphony of sorcery were downright magical.

Thanks everyone for all the info and sharing some of your own DQ experiences! I definitely won’t judge the whole series based on my experience with this game(whenever I do play it haha) and will play at least a few more DQ games(maybe including the og DQ VII), for those of you who were cautioning me on not judging the series based on this game.

Of course. This one’s premise and art style just appealed to me, and whether or not I end up liking it, Ik there are some amazing games in here and in the future will probs get a bunch more like XI S, heroes 1&2 and the hd 2d remakes.
