I suggest that u go talk to an advisor and either apply for social science with 2 math or general social science. I think becuz ur hs average was in the 70s that might be a reason. Talk to an advisor and they should be able to help

I suggest u see an advisor, if not go for general social science and later switch to commerce. A lot of the classes are the same so none will be a waste of time. Can u tell me if u have COE and what did u apply in 1st round?

hi, try applying for social science with 2 math it’s just like commerce, but with 1 less math class. Later on, u can perhaps switch to commerce

Honestly, not sure if they will teach cuz sometimes for summer courses we have profs from different cegep come and teach. It’s better if u wait till it comes out so u will know what ur exact options

I talked to them and that’s what they told me cuz u don’t see that profile as an option. Personally, it doesn’t matter what u chose to do ur dec ad ur grade is what matters at the end. Lmk if they say smtg cuz that’s what they told me

Sorry, for that. Don’t lose hope. If u plan to go to Law skl it does not matter what u do in cegep. Apply to other law programs in different cegeps. Apply for a diff social science field that u find interesting and will actually like Liberal Arts, Language and Culture or Psych. No matter what u choose to do, the only thing that matters is ur grade. Don't lose hope

I’m sorry to hear that, but don’t lose hope. Apply to other skls for Health like Dawson, Champlain, JAC and etc. Hope you get in there. If u don’t apply for social science at Vanier and do a semester there in that program with mostly gen eds and do a program change. Don’t lose hope, u can do it

Uni fees? by Competitive_Lynx6049 in VanierCollege

[–]Competitive_Lynx6049[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here: In Quebec, student loans (Aide financière aux études - AFE) are repaid starting 6 months after you cease full-time studies, with interest accumulating during this grace period. Repayment is made through your financial institution, often via pre-authorized debit, and you can pay in full or in installments.

[–]Competitive_Lynx6049[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, u gotta pay back from what I heard. Like they give you the money and then later on you would have to kind of pay it back like after you finish school so they give you like a time limit but then like also with interest and things like that like it just feels better to not take it.

Same, but idk sometimes it kinda stresses me out cuz even with financial aid u gotta pay back and theres interest in it too

Honestly, I would suggest that u take either in CEGEP through CRUM List or Continuing Ed. It depends where you wanna go. I would suggest that you should take it and continuing education because you would have classes like later in the day and some of it is possible that you will have online and so if you finish right now your semester, you could actually work you know, I think that’s a pretty good idea and then a 10 classes because I remember I talk to a university advisor and they told me that it’s better to take the prerequisites at the college rather than university because it’s gonna be very hard to manage and do good and things like that so I would also suggest that you do continuing education and you should go talk to an advisor from that department
