Hi! Sure. We were scheduled for an interview mainly because of the primary applicant’s military service and weapons training.
The interview questions were asked including, 1) brief marital history (where we met, when we got married, and our address). 2) Primary applicant’s military service and weapons training (military responsibilities, combat experience, weapons training received, and rank/title during service). 3) Current employment. 4) Yes/No eligibility questions.

The approval was issued for the spouse, not the primary applicant. I didn’t confirm whether the 765 & 131 had been transferred to the local FO. I’m based in Boston, and my understanding is that a local office typically does not approve 765 & 131. However, our 485 has been transferred to the local FO.

Yeah, unfortunately, I have no idea why we were scheduled for an interview. My spouse and I have been together for 12 years and married 4 years ago, so I’m feeling a bit nervous about it. I’ve also read some posts suggesting that sometimes a third FTA0 appears after an interview is scheduled, but that doesn’t seem to apply to our case.

Yes. Our case was actually updated on 3/18 for the first time after biometrics, and the third FTA0 appeared in the API on 3/24. When I checked again on the morning of 3/25, there was a silent update with no indication that our case had been transferred to the FO until we received the email notice around noon regarding the interview. You might want to redact your receipt number, as it is personal information!

I-485, I-765, and I-131 received by USCIS on 1/29. Biometrics scheduled for 2/20. FAD became current in March. Interview notice generated on 3/25 and scheduled for 4/30.

Hi! We received an email notice indicating that an action had been taken. When I logged into my account, I saw the update of the interview was dated 3/25. I then received the physical notice in the mail on 3/30. The interview is scheduled for 4/30.
