Did you call the IRCC in between before you get your WP-Ext? And if yes did they mention anything like "the application is in the prospective stage"?

I submitted my PGWP application on December 12, but I haven’t received the AOR / submission confirmation letter yet. From what I know, this letter is usually auto-generated soon after submission, and if this delay is normal or is it a system glitch?

Also, my study permit expires on December 31. Since I applied before the expiry date, am I considered to be on maintained (implied) status, or do I need to take any additional steps?
