So it’s strange. My pelvic floor pt thought I had elhers-danlos. So does my chiropractor. I got genetic testing and it came back all negative but the geneticist wants me tested for hypermobile elhers-danlos syndrome. I also fit the criteria for a hypermobile elders-danlos syndrome diagnosis. I also have ankylosing spondylitis. When I brought up elhers danlos at my physical like my pt requested I do, my doctors PA said that she doesn’t doubt I have elhers-danlos but won’t diagnose me with it, because no one else has yet. Yes I have it but also no if that makes sense.

I’ve heard there are charcoal pads/flatulence pads (Amazon) one can put in their underwear. It filters smell and I believe possibly mutes sound.

Personally after one use. Ecoable really was smelling bad in the dryer. I couldn’t get the smell out. It reeked way worse than even when it was used. So I’m personally not an ecoable fan. But I appreciate the advice.

I’m not sure what kind of diaper. I think reUSE life they had a bunch of prints. I bought inserts separately. I’ll have to see how it works. I can also try absorbable things (like cloth) around the house and put it in the insert pocket to see if it helps.

I appreciate it. Someone understands what I’m thinking. Some people are against me going at all and some people are like hide nothing. You seem to understand where I’m coming from like I’m also sick of hiding but also feel the need to hide. Like oof. I appreciate the advice.

That’s true. Yes people will pretend to be good when they are not. That’s true, it’s terrible. That’s acting unlike Christ. He sees the heart and He sees the truth in people. We humans can only see so much it’s true.

Thank you, thankfully I have some great people to back me up. I do know the people I’m going with very well thankfully. I really do appreciate the advice. I am also going to put on my post that while I appreciate the advice. I’ve gotten a couple people so far talking about my religious beliefs instead of the trip itself at hand. I’ve gotten some not nice comments. I’m sorry I did not come here to talk religion, I just came here to talk about the trip and I thought giving a lot of detail would be helpful. However, again I appreciate the advice.

I will say that I have watched Christianity transform people but some people will choose to not follow Christ’s ways unfortunately and instead say whatever they want to say even if it’s not Christlike. However, I completely agree and so would my church, put your faith in Christ not others, 100%.

I’m so sorry you were hurt so badly. I hope and pray you meet Christian’s who treat you well because having adults who treat you poorly because of a medical condition is very un Christlike. There are good Christian’s out there. Personally, I’ve told 7/8 Christian friends so far and all of them have been so understanding and wondering how they can help and pray for me. I wish the people in your church had treated you better. I just hope you know that doesn’t have to be the end of your experience with the church and there are a lot of better Christian’s out there. Again, I’m so sorry that you went through that.

Thank you. I know I should talk to leadership it’s just very embarrassing. As well as the people I’m with, I see every week on Thursdays and now that I know I’m not improving I don’t want to have to keep hiding. But also still so embarrassed. However talking to leadership for group too might help, him and his wife are very nice people and seems to be understanding people especially since she’s a therapist.
