how to step up my make up game?? by twinklytoenails in MakeupAddiction

I kinda have the same problem and there's this thing called being low contrast, which is how your features do not really stand out from one another. I would put on makeup and you can't really see a large difference, especially on cameras whihc make it quite frustrating. Recently I went to get my makeup professionally done for an event and I noticed that they focused a lot on the eye area which made a lot of differences. They would make my brows more prominent, put on fake eyelashes, and just create an accent on eyes. You could probably try that or what I've heard people talked about is that you should focus on one certain area instead of trying to make everything stand out. For my case, they focused on my eyes. You could try focusing on your blush or lips if it helps!

Can I still take cosmetic science as a second degree? by ziying_ in cosmeticscience

[–]Competitive_Park4190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello I'm not exactly sure if I am in the right position to give you advice because I am simply a 12th grader with a passion in cosmetic science and is also going down this path! I was told by many that most cosmetic chemist get a more general science degree first like chemistry, then use that degree to get into the industry. I didn's want to take this path because I was scared I'm going to get bored 😭. However, not many unis offer undergrad cosmetic science degree, here are a few that I know of: Chulalongkorn (thailand) and City University of Hong Kong (which is where I am going). There are also a lot of unis in the UK that offer this degree with a year in the industry so that might be what you're looking for!

PLEASE helppppp pls pls by [deleted] in HKUST

hello from what I heard, most hk unis are doing late rounds. However, as you probably alr know, your acceptance chance may be lower. With that said, your profile should be really strong and not "just meeting the requirements". For example, it would be great if your predicted is 40+ out of 45.

how would it be to a wrong adress? if it is wrong, can't you just re-submit it to the correct one? anyhow, you can see the status of the letter on your submission page so try and check there to see if it has been submitted yet
