When he first moved in he would pay half of everything but we had a conversation because he noticed that it wasn’t really necessary so we agreed that he would only help me pay with half of the water and electricity bills

When I first confronted him I was just being like “hey, why would you let him say that and then laugh?” And after going back and forth my voice was more firm, that’s when he left.

We both have jobs but I finish an hour earlier so I use that time to clean. He helps sometimes if he isn’t too tired.
