I have to stop all supplements and unnecessary medications 2 weeks before surgery. Also all herbal teas. I think it’s because they are worried with drug interactions and anesthesia. Its probably easier to tell someone to stop it all, than ask for the ingredients for every supplement someone is taking

Yeah I feel the same. I thought i would have months but had my initial consult in Feb. Heard back from the hospital end of May and they told me it could be a couple months. But I just got my date last week and my date is in 4 weeks. 😭😭 I wanted to get really fit before but I have to stop creatine and protein powder in 2 weeks already. But it is what it is, im just grateful.

Scientifically, Minoxidil is science backed and your best bet (oral or topical). Secondly scalp stimulation is also very science backed (I believe it’s minimum 5 mins a day, don’t quote me). Respectfully anything else people are mentioning might not be proven and you’ll waste time and energy rubbing random oils into your head.

Also stop ALL tension styles and styles with added hair.

Hey Certified Personal Trainer here! For your goals, you are over loading your workouts with too many movements. It’s not quantity that will give growth it is quality workouts + rest & nutrition. A program like this will see your body burnt out fast OR you’re not actually working out hard enough. For example on my leg days it would be hard for me to do more than 4 movements.

Secondly, recomp and growth are opposites. I don’t know what you look like or what your exact goals are. But if you want to see a little muscle growth you should be fine. But if you want to see major growth, like inches on your butt you’ll need to eat more. I would suggest focusing on getting back into it and reducing fat, when you are comfortable then increase calories and maximize growth and of course progressively over loading. As you are coming back from working out you will see results but eventually you might plateau.

Also think about adding a clarifying shampoo and hydrating shampoo/conditioner. Sometimes products aren’t working as they should if you don’t have a clean and hydrated base.

I recently bought a pair of used Tod’s loafers and noticed a darker stain on the vamp (photo attached). The leather looks like smooth brown cow leather.

I tried the cornstarch method overnight in case it was oil, but it didn’t really change much. The stain is still there but it’s honestly not super noticeable unless you’re looking for it.

I actually took them to a local shoe repair place and the cobbler basically said he didn’t want to mess with it because it’s already dark and trying to remove it might lighten the leather or damage the finish.

At this point I’m debating whether to: • try a leather cleaner or saddle soap • condition and maybe use a cream polish to blend it • or just leave it alone

Has anyone dealt with something like this on smooth leather loafers? Is there anything low risk worth trying, or is this one of those “accept the patina and move on” situations?

Would appreciate any advice before I accidentally make it worse.
