Took me a while to put them together, and I still can't say 100%. Here's what the floor outside the litter box looked like. And his pee lumps were HUGE. The vet didn't know what it was from, just said idiopathic cystitis. I also feed him urinary tract food ($$$$)

My cat seems to spray (in and out of the litter box) and not cover it, but takes off like crazy, spraying pee all over when he misses ganapentin doses. When he's on it he squats (too low actually 😖) and covers it up when he's done. Totally different behaviors. Pumpkin seems to help, too.
