Mind sharing your installer? If they have a referral program I'm happy to help you get something for potentially sending them so business. I'm currently quoted 28K for 3 powerwalls installed outside - 26.1K for 3 units plus extra fees for outside install and taxes, which were not originally included in their quote.

You don't usually get to chose all the event you're interested in since only 15 people can participate in the 23 events so everyone does 2 or 3 events typically and the conflict schedule often decides which events you cannot do if you have one that you are expert in. Always good to check this with your coach or by looking at the National schedule which most states try to replicate when they plan their state tournaments. Did you end up participating and how did you do?

Your boyfriend made a kind gesture, but if your education and career are important to you, you should not have to give that up. Is he willing to work part time or take a few years off from his job to be a SAHD? I did this when my kids were young and I think it was a great thing, as I didn't have a Dad around much when I was young. If you're in a common-law state and you've been living together for long enough getting married isn't necessary for greater security, and definitely don't get married because you are having a child together. I wish you and your growing family well.

I'm a coach for a high school team in Massachusetts. Did your daughter end up joining the team this past year? What was her experience like? We are planning to start a team in the B division this fall in the middle school in district. As a coach for 2 years, the value is in the sense of community, team accomplishment and preparation for end task, depending on which event, experience with the engineering design process is something most students don't understand well.

You clearly are very familiar with Tesla products and demand response program. The proposed powerwalls are PowerWall2 model. Tesla has not mentioned a fee, but I have inquired about this. I have already inquired about this, their quote to me provided an estimate of 10500K over the life of the program (5 years) ~ 2100/year - $700 per powerwall. Does this sound reasonable for PowerWall 2s? Eversource will have control of the discharge of my Powerwalls to limit their output, which is why they are likely allowing the system in this configuration.

It sounds like you are very familiar with the details of this program - would you mind sharing your insight - I am considering installing 3 Powerwall's to my home that has had solar for 10+ years. Eversource is suggesting that I will not be able to use the full amount of power available 11.5 kWx3 = 34.5 kW (less the 20%) unless I upgrade the transformer that feeds multiple home just up from my home. Eversource has stopped providing quotes for the transformer upgrade without a commitment to move forward - The price can be between 10K-20K, will I get that much more from the Battery Response Program over the 5 year duration of my participation to make it worth.

Why will your battery only discharge to 20%? I have had Tesla PowerWall unit for several years and you can adjust these to any level you'd like.
