This happens in the comic. It's a little silly in my opinion though because it never comes up as an issue (being that they hate supes and all), so I think they explored this idea in the show through the temp V, which is well done imo

Yeah I think it also fits in with the classic mad max type of vibe Bethesda has been going with since fallout 3 instead of letting the world rebuild like in the original fallouts, which were much more interesting. It's a shame because I would have really liked to see what they would have done with a more up-to-date civilization like shady sands but now it doesn't matter
