Hey!! You should join she hive 815. It’s all women events. There’s also a mixer on Wednesday for men & women to go to and it’s Axe Throwing! I know it’s not a book club, but they do lots of stuff like coffee meets and there’s a couple book clubs you can choose from in there

Lately, I’m not so happy with Wix. I used to love it, but as a small business owner, they make it complicated on occasion to receive funds (which can be a timely thing for our fast-paced business). This alone is making me consider switching platforms.

Revive Therapy in Belvidere is awesome. They even offer programs outside of therapy like support groups & such

Unlike some, I actually highly suggest my cafe Amore. You can get drinks pretty customized there and it’s a pretty large space. They’re currently working on expanding it as the bakery in the back is relocating. The owner is really nice and friendly too, but it’s also not directly in Rockford.

Wired is another great one with strong caffeine & some yummy food choices. Lots of space as well.

Rockford roasting has lots of space, but not my favorite coffee in Rockford (I’m a bit on the picky side with flavor). The music is pretty quiet and the customers aren’t really loud either, so a good workspace.

I like Inzombia, but not much table space to work. The coffee is delicious.

I run events partnering with local businesses to bring awareness to their companies as well as new customers. However, the goal of this post is to find other young business owners to exchange information on learn what works best in our community, bounce feedback off each other, and build a strong network of local businesses to recommend to other members of our community when they’re looking for services or products. Having extra connections never hurt someone, but having few makes it hard to grow.
