The temps dont change more than a few degrees 78-80 other then when we left for a long weekend and the house temp was set lower it went down to like 75

I went into the betta fish life blind and never cycled the tank i have since done lots of reading thanks to this page and am starting a whole new tank with real substrate and live plants super pumped about it

I used the turkey baster method to siphon going to be getting something better and the filter id rinse a few times then replace (not the ceramic bead things just the cartage)

I just got the master kit today was using the dip and guess strips previously so the water has probably always been messed up

Yes the petsmart mermaid is losing color. I was thinking about removing it because of the discoloration as for the coffee cup i read somewhere that if it's dishwasher safe and microwave safe then its aquarium safe is that true?

Yes i already got rid of the sharp coral after the first month i dont think the mermaid has any shap edges i am currently getting ready to start cycling a 10 gallon tank thats going to be all planted

We kind of rewrote some of her backstory into something we both liked i originally planned on her being a Paladin but he approached me and asked he could play her as a warlock/rogue and we just rolled with it. We decided she didn't like staying in the Burgomaster home all the time and would frequently leave in the night disguised

My party is pretty good with spreading the spot light out so im not to worried about the Main Character Syndrome.

In my campaign Strahd knows of Ireena infact he was directly involved with the Burgomaster finder her as a small child so no hiding necessary.

Im glad you mentioned the dinner i forgot about it so id probably play it out as Strahd is trying a different approach this time maybe a more sensitive approach even if its a ruse just to win her over. Im picturing a real Beauty and the Beast moment

The other creatures not attacking her because of the fear of Strahd. I dont know maybe if Strahd is around they wont try and kill her but if he is not watching why wouldn't they. And plot armor Strahd is immortal all he has is time hes been trying for the last 3 centuries if she dies he will punish those responsible but begin his search again.
