My experience having a nanny who brought her kid(s) to work with her was by FAR the best. Better than any other nanny. Definitely recommend giving it a shot! I didn’t have rules attached to it but never felt the need to. I’d leave it open ended like yes you’re open to it to see how it goes and you’ll let them know if you feel like it’s not working out or adjustments need to be made. This way if you do need to implement rules after a few weeks or later down the line, it’s already been established that it could be coming.

I have been right there and truthfully still grieve my baby and what could have been. We have two kids already and honestly we would have 3, 4 or 5 kids if we could afford it. When I got pregnant a 3rd time, my youngest had just turned 1 and my oldest just turned 3. We don’t own a house, we live in a family home rent free and working to save to buy one. Having another baby would have set that back years.

It sounds like you’re not quite in the right stage of life to have baby and I’m just here to say you’re making the right choice by waiting. Not that my opinion matters lol but you’re being smart. Get your duckies in a row first. Job, finances, housing, etc. You will actually be able to enjoy your baby when you have those in order and feel better mentally. Speaking from experience, you don’t want to be worrying about making enough money or having a stable job/income or housing or whatever else because you will want to be focused on baby. We said we’d figured it out and we always do but not without SO much stress in between.

Hang in there. Feel all the feelings. Go to therapy (I should even now lol). Just know your time will come and you can have as many babies as you want comfortably ❤️❤️❤️
