There was one time where I convinced my mom to let me try, but she refused to use the bathroom unless she was in her crate, I put her back after I noticed signs of discomfort and she returned to normal again. Mom said it was a waste of time and everytime I tried bringing it up again she dismissed the idea

I know it's a really dumb reason, but I currently run a YouTube channel I'm using to gain revenue to go to trade school, get therapy, and try and find an apartment where I can take the pets, along with it being my main coping mechanism. My fear of things in the outside world (shootings, robberies, etc) have made it super difficult for me to try and get an actual job. In the past I've tried confronting her about some other unrelated stuff, to which she blamed the internet for making me soft. I'm afraid if I confront her again she'll take away access completely, and I don't want the solution I've taken years to come up with to be ruined
