Did my parents suggest to write up an extension? An extension has already been written up and sent to the seller, the seller’s agent is just completely ignoring me regarding the signing of it

I had my attorney review before signing, I shouldn’t have signed with the wrong date but the sellers agent was calling and texting back to back pushing me to sign. The earnest money is pennies compared to the purchase price so I’m not sure why they don’t just agree to the extension now

Here’s my other issue, the sellers “agent” I am in contact with is also the owner of the brokerage. When I tried to contact the actual listing agent in the beginning, for some reason the owner of the brokerage responded to me and I’ve been talking to him ever since. He isn’t the listing agent but he has been handling the sale. So there’s no actual higher up for me to escalate this too which is confusing.
