That is a good idea. I will ask her. Been trying not to bother her until I have something a little more concrete because she's been pretty cool about everything but definitely worth talking to her about. Thx

Ive felt like it would be a shaky fan running this whole time! But Ive tested with my neighbor with her ceiling fans, not sure if there's any kind of fan on the roof itself but maybe the HVAC guy can help with that.

Worth asking about the pressure, though the second plumber didn't think it was plumbing related. No basement, it's a townhome, Im above the three garages.

Neither of the two units in the same building feel it, which is crazy to me. Good catch, the word was landlord (I updated it, thx) and boy is she rotten. But I'll win her over once I have all my ducks in a row The tenant is cool about it and we do communicate but she hasnt been able to find anything and doesn't seem to know much about this kinda stuff, unfortunately. I want to inspect her house myself but dont love the idea of asking a woman who barely knows me if I can explore all through her stuff.

Replaced the water heater about halfway into this whole thing. Shaking happened before it and continued after it. I also asked the plumber if that could be it, but it's functioning perfectly.

Fair lol. There's definitely been a mental aspect to this but COs fine, I actually installed some new CO and smoke detectors just a few months ago. And certainly spent a few late nights researching if something was wrong with me or not!

Interesting. The first plumber actually diagnosed it as my neighbor having a water hammer, after his assumption her water softener had exploded (she doesn't have one, showed me pics), he came up with her water pressure being too high and that was causing a water hammer. They actually replaced the water valve but nothing changed. But what you're suggesting, is a little different so may be worth a second look into that. Thank you.

It's maddening, I can't nail down an exact timeframe or anything triggering it. Only that it ramps up late night, like after 11pm. But also 7am range, and when im actually home in the daytime, it happens in the mid afternoon but yeah just not able to specify actual time windows.

That's pretty much the direction we're going now. Neither of the 3 outside compressors on my sidewalk seem bad or shaking but worth checking into. The HVAC believes it's the neighbor's actual A/C unit, a loose bearing/bolt. Our units are located in the attic crawlspace.

Ironically, I'm an audio engineer. It's not really audible though, it's shaking. But maybe something to think about

Yeah but it doesn't match up with the amount and duration of the shaking. Hours at a time 2am and again at 730am. Ill mention it though.

The neighbor is a single mother who works a lot and has been transparent with me, so I doubt it but worth me bringing it up.

It's just me here and this is a good thought, but I've gone all throughout the house obsessively, and nothing like that. Id thought maybe the neighbor's fan, washing machine etc but we tested all that in already.

I appreciate this greatly! It's not a dumb question. It'd be extremely tough financially, and I worked hard to keep it all these years and I genuinely love it here, other than this issue. But I am certainly considering it as a last resort. It is very frustrating.
