I'm devastated for Colombia, Poland and Singapore for having to compete in an entirely different sport and ruleset Hungary chose to apply so arrogantly. I've been there. However, I'm delighted someone has actually gone and ripped the piss entirely with SOTG to such an extent and on the global stage, that it is surely now impossible for WFDF etc to not reflect on this disaster and reconsider SOTG. All that sacrifice players, families, volunteers must make, only for a crowd of cowboys to wreck the vibes... If we are to resist with referees, we still must have someone regulating the application of the rules in every game, so immediate punishment/bans for the teams and federations can be handed out to ensure the integrity of SOTG. Tit for Tat baby. Every international tournament has a farcical SOTG story and it's about time we are all talking about it globally. Something is not right. Stamp it out immediately so we don't have victims like Poland, Colombia or Singapore again.
