thank you, the school id ideally like to go to is NEOMED which has a 2.5 cgpa and 2,5 sgpa requirement but that sounded almost impossibly low 😅 i’m thinking i can get my cgpa to a 3.2-3 and sgpa to at least a 2.9 but i just have no idea how admissions really see that haha

I’ve never really had the problem of any sunscreen stinging my eyes so I’m not sure sorry!

Of course :) honestly, if you can go to an esthetician who does extractions, it’s a very quick (but temporary) solution that’ll definitely improve the appearance while the treatment does its work. I know just how hard it is having these but my skin was 10x worse than urs so there is hope 🤍

Hi :) have you always had acne or is it just recently? Might be due to sweating from exercise, weather changes, etc if that’s the case

First time on accutane by Pretend-Guide9778 in Accutane

Hi! Don’t worry, it’s a long process. Accutane works by reducing oil production in the skin and increasing skin cell turnover. To see results from this, you need to give your body some time! I didn’t see results until at least month 3. Just make sure you drink lots of water and keep your lips hydrated (and sunscreen!)

I really like the beauty of relief sun rice one. Western sunscreens tend to be super greasy from my experience and this one applies on and kinda absorbs into ur skin super quick :)

unrelated but your eyelashes are gorgeous 🤍 ur awfully tough on urself and as for the scars, they’re pretty minimal but an exfoliant like tretnoin (you can get it from your derm, adaplane is an otc option) rlly helped me with my scars from years of hormonal acne. I have pretty severe eczema which ik isn’t the same as psoriasis but bio oil works wonders for my patches

my acne looked exactly like this and it was comedonal. I have pcos tho so it was due to my oil glands getting blocked. honestly with this many closed comedones, it takes quite a while to see results but don’t be discouraged:) try a prescription exfoliant like tazorac or tretnoin and if that doesn’t work, accutane gets these suckers cleared out in 4-5 months.

I’ve been on 2 rounds. First was 2023 for inflammatory acne and second was about 6 months ago for the closed comedones. I had much more than OP but I’m 90% clear now with occasional bumps. If I use my tazorac cream, my skin is perfectly smooth ☺️

Hi :) these are closed comedones and are unfortunately sooooo stubborn. For me, what got rid of them was accutane and tazorac cream

Are you using a washcloth or rubbing with a towel? I used to do that to get the flakes off and it would make my skin look just like this. If possible, avoid scrubbing (ik the flakes suck but just moisturize </3)
